Start-up Visa
 

​​Canada’s Start-up Visa Program was a pilot program from 2013 and became to a permanent program in 2018. It targets immigrant entrepreneurs with the skills and potential to build businesses in Canada:

•    are innovative
•    can create jobs for Canadians
•    can compete on a global scale
All qualifying applicants can directly apply for permanent resident and have option to apply for temporary work permit as well. 

 

PNP Entrepreneur
 

The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) allow Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and who are interested in settling in a particular province. Each Canadian province have their own unique Provincial Nominee Programs. Participating provinces and territories sign agreements with IRCC that allow them to select immigrants who meet the requirements that they have set forth.

Self-employed

To qualify for business immigration to Canada under the Self-employed Program, an applicant must demonstrate that they have the relevant cultural or athletic experience that has allowed them to be self-employed while living in their country of origin. The candidate must furthermore be able to make a reasonably significant contribution to one of these fields through their relevant experience and skills in Canada in order to be successful in their application.
