The Prince Edward Island Entrepreneur stream is for foreign nationals with business ownership or extensive management experience who would like to move to PEI to start their business and eventually become permanent residents.

The Prince Edward Island Entrepreneur steam application is a two-stage process.

Stage 1: submit application ---->Temporary Work Permit

Stage 2: Implement business plan----> Permanent Residence

Eligibility

01/ Age: 21-59 years old

02/ Language requirement:

at least CLB 4 ( IELTS: Listening 4.5/Speaking 4/Writing 4/Reading 3.5).

03/ Education

at a minimum, have a Canadian secondary (high school) diploma or a foreign high school diploma equal to a Canadian credential.

04/ Personal Net Worth

at least CAD $600,000.

05/ Business Ownership / Work experience

have transferable management skills and past employment or business ownership experience;

06/ Investment

invest a minimum of $150,000 into the business within 12 months of landing in PEI

07/ Financial statements

provide prepared financial statements noting a minimum of $75,000 in eligible operating expenses
