Nova Scotia is a province in eastern Canada. With a population of 923,598 as of 2016, it is the most populous of Canada's four Atlantic provinces. 

The Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream is for experienced business owners or senior business managers who want to live in Nova Scotia. They must start a new business or buy an existing business and must actively participate in the day-to-day management of the business. After operating the business for a year, the entrepreneur may be nominated for permanent resident status. 

NSPNP Entrepreneur application is a two-stage process.

Stage 1: submit application ---->Temporary Work Permit

Stage 2: Implement business plan----> Permanent Residence

Eligibility

01/ Language requirement:

    At least CLB 5 ( IELTS: Listening 5/Speaking 5/Writing 5/Reading 4). 

 

02/ Experience

    Have at least 3 years experience actively managing and owning a business(1/3 ownership minimum) OR more than 5 years experience in a senior business management role in the last ten years

03/ Personal Net Worth

    1. Have a net worth of at least $600,000 CAD

    2. Your personal net worth will be verified by a third-party supplier.

04/ Investment

    Be able to invest at least $150,000CAD of your own money to establish a business in Nova Scotia

05/ Job Creation

    The applicant must create a minimum of one full-time or equivalent part-time employment
opportunity for a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident in Nova Scotia.

06/ Business Research Visit

    All applicants purchasing or partnering in an existing business must complete an exploratory visit to meet the current owner(s)
