Saskatchewan is a prairie and boreal province in Canada. It is bordered on the west by Alberta, on the north by the Northwest Territories, on the east by Manitoba. Its population is estimated at 1,181,987. Half residents live in Regina and Saskatoon.

Through the SINP Entrepreneur Program, you and your family can start, obtain, or partner in a business in Saskatchewan and be actively involved in managing it, while residing in Saskatchewan.

SINP Entrepreneur category application is a two-stage process.

Stage 1: submit application ---->Temporary Work Permit

Stage 2: Implement business plan----> Permanent Residence

Eligibility

01/Experience 

    Have a minimum of three years of relevant business management or entrepreneurial experience gained in the past ten years

02/ Net Worth

  1. Have $500,000 (CAD) at minimum in Net Business and Personal Assets;

  2. Your personal net worth will be verified by a third-party supplier approved by the MPNP

03/ Personal Investment Funds

    Intend to invest a minimum of $300,000 (CAD) in Regina and Saskatoon or

     a minimum of $200,000 (CAD) in all other Saskatchewan communities.

04/ Job Creation

    The creation of two employment opportunities in Saskatchewan for Canadians or permanent residents who are not related to you. (This only applies if you're establishing a new business in Regina or Saskatoon.)

05/ Business Research Visit

A Business Plan is required and is an integral part of the application.

A business research allows the applicant to conduct extensive research of their future business investment or proposal.

06/ Language requirement

    No requirement.
